More this or that for you today! This time it’s all about video games so take a look at my answers.
PC or Console
PC. I’ve never owned a console and have played games on console very rarely.
Indie or AAA
Indie games! So much so I started a group for people who love indie games too. Indie games are like hidden treasures and when you find a good one, it’s so satisfying.
Keyboard or Controller
Depends on the game. I default to using a keyboard and mouse because I’m more comfortable with that in general. But there are some games that are just easier to use a controller on for me.
Singleplayer or Multiplayer
Singleplayer. If a game doesn’t have a singleplayer option I probably won’t get it, since most of my gaming time is done solo. I occasionally play multiplayer only games, but I don’t get as much play time or enjoyment out of them.
Which of these would you choose? Share in the comments!
PC-master race forever! 😀
I love indie games too! One of the best of the last years is “Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice”. Have you played it?
I have heard a lot about it but have not
1. PC for sure. Games are cheaper, you can mod games, mp communities are better… the list goes on. However, I do own a Switch and a PS4 because I love Nintendo and Sony exclusives.
2. At the moment, I’d have to say indies. Most of my all-time favorites are AAA games, but I like how indie devs take more risks to make unique gameplay experiences. I feel like those studios are where most of the creative talent and energy in the industry is these days.
3. Depends on the game. Anything that involes driving, hand me a controller. For everything else, a keyboard is preferred.
4. Single player for sure. I’m more interested in games for their narratives. I still like multiplayer, however. The best is when you get a game that offers both a great single player and multiplayer experience, like The Last of Us or GTA V.
I’ve been looking at getting a Switch soon because of certain games that are getting on that system plus could finally play Nintendo games
I prefer PC gaming. I used to game heavily on consoles, but a friend of mine introduced me to PC gaming 6 years back and now it’s my go to platform. I do own a Nintendo Switch for all those Nintendo exclusives though.
Most of my all time favorite games are from triple A devs so triple A games for me. I do love my Indies though.
KB&M all day unless it’s a game that plays better with a controller.
A few years ago I would have said single player because I LOVE my single player games, but since my wife has gotten into gaming I’ll answer multiplayer games. I love being able to game with her and if a game has multiplayer odds are I’ll put more hours in it than single player games these days.
I love indie games! my favorites are gone home and life is strange.
