Any and every holiday can break the bank if you’re not careful. And if you’re very into Halloween, it’s even easier to spend more than you probably should. But it’s actually pretty easy to have a budget-conscious Halloween, and here’s how.
Raid Your Closet for a Costume
Putting a quick costume together is pretty easy when you can just pull from your closet. Take inspiration from Disneybounding or check out my series of Quick and Geeky Halloween Costumes for inspiration.
Reuse Last Years Decor
If you already have a plethora of decor you can use, don’t go to Target and get more. Find new ways to upcycle and reuse what you already have before buying anything new.
Get Creative and Make Your Own Decor
Some foam board and sharpies can go a long way if needed, and you can get both at the dollar store. Plus it can be a great Halloween activity to make your own decor!
Use Services You Already Have to Get Spooky
Have a Netflix or Hulu? You have plenty of access to horror and non-horror movies and shows and you already pay for it, so you’re not adding expenses like you would to see the newest horror movie in theaters.
