Secret Blogger Santa

Secret Blogger Santa is a collab event hosted by Ellen over at Livid Lightning and Later Levels where we all got assigned another blogger to showcase and shout out on our blogger as a gift for all of the awesome geeky bloggers out there.

The awesome blogger that I got for this collab is the one and only NekoJonez. He covers all sorts of topics around gaming, including a lot of his thoughts and opinions. As he says, his blog is a “sort of diary of my gaming life”. He also likes to focus on having honest discussions about games.

Now I have picked some of his posts that I think you, dear reader, should go and check out!

The Point-and-click puzzle Pinnacle – Jonez Edition

I chose this one as it was an entry into another recent collab from Later Levels and Quietschisto from RNG about the best point-and-click games. It is always fun to read why someone chooses a particular game for these collabs.

Game Quicky: Forager (Switch) ~ Collecting the Mining

I chose this one because I really like the idea of Game Quicky as a whole. It is a great series idea that NekoJonez does and should be something you all check out.

Gaming Music

This is a whole category on his site talking about music in games. There is such great music across gaming and it is fun to explore new games via their music.

There are also tons of reviews and first impressions of all kinds of games so if you are looking for a new game to play, check out what NekoJonez has to say.

Lastly, as a part of this collab, we are gifting our secret blogger something from a video game. And for this, I did some digging and I’m actually going to throwback to what is his first English review on the site. And that review is of the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider. Although this isn’t necessarily a fictional item, I’d choose a bow and arrow which is Lara’s signature weapon in the game. Plus I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t want anything connected to Yamatai and Himiko.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
