Have You Ever? Bookish Edition

I have done a few different have you ever tags and this one came to mind so I decided to add it to the mix!

Have you ever been in a book club?

Yes, once in middle school where I never read the books and now I am in the Bad Bitch Book Club which is fully virtual and focuses on books written and about women and non-binary folks.

Have you ever been to an author event?

In my freshmen year of college, the university had a program called the One Book, where a book was chosen and promoted to be read throughout campus. It was assigned in one of my classes and then the author came to campus to speak and sign books.

Have you ever owned a signed copy of a book?

A few! There is the one book I mentioned above that I got signed, I have a signed copy of Looking for Alaska by John Green, and a signed copy of Sunny Side Up by Daniel Stallings.

Have you ever written a book?

I have written stories that are long enough to qualify as a novel, albeit a short one. This has been pretty recent as well, with most stories being between 30,000-55,000 words.

Have you ever met an author?

I can do one better and be related to one! My brother is an author of mystery fiction.
