Our next bracket is a big one because I’ll be putting BTS’ title tracks head to head against one another to determine my top song!
This bracket has all of BTS’ title tracks up to this point, totaling 18. With the songs, I used BracketHQ to create my brackets, randomizing how the pairings were made. From there, I made my choices. So let’s begin!
Preliminary Round
Since there are 18 songs, the bracket broke it down so there were two pairs prior to everything else that I’m calling the preliminary round.
ON vs. IDOL
This pair was pretty hard to choose because these are two of my favorite title tracks by BTS. I ultimately chose ON, because even though I enjoy the unique and eccentric style of IDOL, it’s not always my cup of tea.
I Need U vs. Dope
Dope was my easy pick for this pair. I do enjoy I Need U but I enjoy Dope as a whole a lot more.
Round 1
Fire vs. ON
Fire wins this round because I listen to it much more often than I listen to ON. Also it is my favorite choreography of all of BTS.
Run vs. Life Goes On
Life Goes On is a nice song, but Run is ultimately much more my taste when it comes to BTS’ discography.
War of Hormone vs. N.O
Both of these, being earlier title tracks, always make me laugh at when young BTS was trying to act tough when looking like children. War of Hormone entertains me more so it wins the round.
Fake Love vs. Boy with Luv
Fake Love is in the ball park of my favorite BTS songs of all. I enjoy it’s overall style in a lot of ways. I enjoy Boy with Luv, but I do get tired of it after a while. So Fake Love wins this pair.
Danger vs. Not Today
I do enjoy Danger a lot. But Not Today is one of my all-time favorite songs and one of the very first as well. So Not Today was an easy win.
Spring Day vs. No More Dream
I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of either of these songs. I respect No More Dream because it is their debut title song, and I do listen to it from time to time. But I chose Spring Day largely because of the choreography.
Blood, Sweat & Tears vs. DNA
DNA is a great song that is very unique for BTS in many ways. Blood, Sweat & Tears is, like Fake Love, in the arena of my all-time favorites. I never skip Blood, Sweat & Tears when it comes on so it wins this round.
Dope vs. Boy in Luv
Dope is an easy win again. Boy in Luv is not a song I ever play but Dope is a repeat.
Round 2
Fire vs. Run
Fire’s choreography is so good and the hype energy it has makes it the winner of this pair.
War of Hormone vs. Fake Love
Fake Love easily beats War of Hormone. War of Hormone is fun, but also cringey at times. I’m always impressed when I hear Fake Love.
Not Today vs. Spring Day
Not Today easily wins over Spring Day. I’m just much more partial to the hype songs and Not Today will forever be in my list of favorites.
Blood, Sweat & Tears vs. Dope
And this pairing kills me. I love both of these songs so much. They each represent my favorite kinds of songs by BTS. Blood, Sweat & Tears ultimately pulls ahead for it’s styling being gorgeous, iconic choreography, and musically amazing to me.
Round 3
Fire vs. Fake Love
Fire pulls ahead of Fake Love here because I rarely skip Fire but will sometimes skip Fake Love if I’m not in the mood to listen to it. And I like the Fire choreography much more.
Not Today vs. Blood, Sweat & Tears
Another decision that kills me inside. I’d argue these are my two favorite BTS songs of all. Blood, Sweat & Tears pulls ahead because I love every aspect of it.
Final Round
Fire vs. Blood, Sweat & Tears
This is decently hard, but Blood, Sweat and Tears wins in the end. It’s just musically so great, the visuals and styling of the music video and stages is gorgeous, and the choreography is iconic.
