Emily from Monsterlady’s Diary came up with this tag and I found it fitting for all sorts of bands, including K-Pop. So here is my take on this tag!
A band that changed your life?
BTS, since it introduced me to K-Pop and now I am a full-fledged multistan. Also, I have never cried at a music video until watching We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal and had the moment of understanding why they are so loved.
A band you like that disbanded?
I had to dig a little since most groups I actively listen to are still creating music. But one group I enjoyed is 1Team, and I was a little sad to see them disband.
A band you’d like to get into more?
There is a handful, but I’m going to go with Seventeen. I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of their music thus far.
A band you’ve never seen live but want to?
Stray Kids is my choice, partially because I don’t want BTS to be the answer for all of them (but I would love to see them in concert too) and mostly because they are one of my top favorite groups.
A band you wish you could hang out with?
BTS, both because they are utter goofballs but also because I’d just like to talk to them about their music.
A band that was love at first listen?
I’m going to say 3YE. YESSIR was my first song and I loved it instantly, thus binging the rest of their music and becoming one of my favorite groups.
A band that you rely on to improve your mental health?
I honestly don’t rely on things like bands to improve my mental health. Sure I’ll have music that I’ll play to cheer me up or relax, but it isn’t a specific group I listen to. BTS is the closest since I do have an affinity for many of their songs in those situations.
An underrated band you love
So many! BZ-Boys is the first that comes to mind, and I do really want to see them succeed.
What bands would you pick? Let me know in the comments!
