Last year, I wrote the original post of Horror Games for Halloween, and figured that some new games could be added since some great horror games have released recently.
Hide and Shriek
Hide and Shriek is a one v. one online multiplayer where you are trying to scare the other player the most and collect the most points. The catch is that you both are invisible to each other. You can set traps to find your foe while you collect orbs to get points. This game is $5.99 on Steam and released today!
Dead by Daylight
I’ve written on Dead by Daylight before, but for Halloween they are having a special DLC where you can play as Michael Myers on a suburban map, or survive as Laurie Strode. You can play this game alone or with your friends. This game is $19.99 on Steam.
Outlast 2
Outlast 2 is not fully released yet, but the demo is available. If you don’t have some friends to play games with, get a good scare with this demo. And if you haven’t played the original Outlast, I suggest you do that too. The Outlast 2 demo is free!
Five Night’s At Freddy’s: Sister Location
The FNAF series has it’s latest release in Sister Location, where we leave Freddy behind for a new cast of killer animatronics. I’ve found this one more spooky and chillingly scary then the others, which is good for a creepy Halloween night. This game is currently $7.99 on Steam.
I did play Sister Location before but I quit wile I was still on the elevator!
You didn’t list Alien Isolation. That scared the hell out of me!
It’s listed on the original post!
Oh my mistake! Sorry about that! I was just getting over excited I think!
Totally fine 🙂
I am a massive OutLast fan. I’ve never played, but the thrills I get from watching other peoples gameplay, just amazing! Also, I’m too scared to walk into the Asylum, let alone face the Wall-Riders. OutLast II will be even better(one shall hope). :3 ♡
Not sure I could play these, I do love horror movies, but games are different….I’d probably freak out. haha
I’m such the opposite! I cannot watch horror movies but games are alright
I know the feeling. I hate having things jumping at me. I couldn’t handle VR.
Outlast is terrifying.. I haven’t been able to play it because I get too freaked out.
So I take it you won’t be trying Outlast 2? Have you tried the Condemned. That’s freaky.
My brother has the sequel, but I have never played the first game.
My late uncle told me to buy it saying I’d love it. After playing it the first time and being very unnerved, I was like “what the Hell man?” And he said, “oh yeah it is terrifying. I won’t be playing that again!” Charming right?
