You bet the most cunning house is playing some board games. Slytherin’s were the easiest house to find games for and this list could have gotten so much longer but I restrained myself to these five games. Continue reading
They may have Wizard Chess, but witches and wizards can find great entertainment from muggle games as well. So I decided to curate lists of games that witches and wizards of each house would enjoy. And of course, I have to start with my own house, Ravenclaw. Continue reading

I have been spending quite a lot of time on Pottermore, mostly for blog posts and school work (I am designing a Fantastic Beasts website!). And after doing the Another Harry Potter Tag, I thought about making a tag that asks all sorts of questions about what we would do if we were Hogwarts students. So here we go! Continue reading

I really enjoy the magical creatures of the Harry Potter world. It is one of the lesser loved areas, but since the Fantastic Beasts films have come out more love is given to these creatures. And while the world has come to love the Niffler, there are so many more beasts and creatures that could use some love. Continue reading
While we all excitedly wait for all of the new games to come from Portkey Games to transport us into the wizarding world, I came across this little gem in Google Play. This is a game from Warner Bros. itself, so it has all of our favorite music, creatures, and details from the series. But how is it as a game overall? Continue reading
This is a spoiler-free review
Excitement in the Wizarding World fandom has been caused by the release of a fan film called Voldemort: Origins of the Heir. The unofficial film is available to watch for free, so I decided to take an hour and watch this re-telling of the history of Voldemort. Continue reading
After seeing some unboxings of the first Wizarding World Crate, I decided to check it out and get the March box, which is Hogwarts House Pride. I’m a Ravenclaw, so my stuff is Ravenclaw products, but all of the house items are the same, just house specific. Let’s say “Alohomora!” and open this box. Continue reading
In a long line of ever-changing Defense Against the Dark Arts professors, Lupin stands to be the best, despite his condition. His presence is so significant and powerful, but often not recognized or acknowledged anymore. Continue reading
So I have fallen into the pit that is Funko Pops, even more than I was before. I now have a list on Amazon called Funkos! that is just a list of what I want. Did you know that you can watch quidditch in real life, with a World Cup and everything?Sure, flying might not be directly involved, but quidditch is alive and well all around the world.

With the release of the houses for Ilvermorny happening last week, I thought it would be interesting to see where our beloved characters from the original series fit into their American counterpart.
Just this week, Pottermore released a sorting quiz for the American wizarding school, Ilvermorny. And, of course, the sea of people that is the Potter fandom went to the site to be sorted, as did I. But, after being sorted, my biggest question was “What does this mean?” And now this is your guide to understanding your new house.
Last but not least, the one and only Gryffindor. This is the house we know the most about, or do we?
I have lived the ultimate dream: I have been to Hogsmeade and Hogwarts. And I have to say, it was just as amazing as you would think, and here is why.
So, I’ve covered Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, so it’s only fair to go on to Slytherin now.
Hufflepuffs, I think, are the least discussed house in the Harry Potter universe. The majority of people only know that they exist, that Cedric Digory hailed from there, and probably respond the same way as AVPM Dumbledore did shown above. But what to we assume of them that may not be so? Continue reading
The Hogwarts’ houses come with stereotypes, and thus some misconceptions and generalizations of the students. As a Ravenclaw myself, I decided to set some things straight when it comes to my house.
The man behind the potion’s teacher, a Wonderland caterpillar, a singing judge, a paranoid android, and so much more.
2015 was a very exciting year for geek culture, but now it is coming to an end. So what’s next?
Truly a man of much wisdom, Dumbledore has spoken some of the greatest quotes in the Harry Potter series. And in honor of the headmaster, I would like to list some of my favorite quotes of his.
Underrated is a new series I am starting where I talk about my favorite, most underrated characters from different fandoms, stories, shows, and more. I want to highlight how important and special these characters really are. And probably the most underrated character of all is the one and only Rubeus Hagrid.
Official looks into the upcoming Potter World prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them have been released, and while we’ve seen the actors, we have yet to see any beasts. With that being said, here is my wishlist for what beasts I want them to include in the film.
This is certainly not a new topic at all, heck even Buzzfeed has done it. But as an avid Harry Potter fan, we spend much of our time discussing what could have or should have been with the movies. Now, while some stuff can slide, other stuff seemed crazy to cut from the final films. So here are my top 5 scenes from the books that should have been in the movies. Spoilers ahead.
