Self Care Tips Based On Your Hogwarts House

As geeks, we almost all know what our Hogwarts house is. And with times being what they are recently, I figured it was a good time to make some suggestions for how to take care of ourselves based on where the Sorting Hat placed us.

First Look: Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Alright, witches and wizards, it is officially here! Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is the latest Portkey Games and Niantic game which released this past weekend. I have spent the majority of the weekend trying it out and this post I will be sharing my first impressions of the game! Continue reading

Wizarding World Bucket List

I’ve been itching to go an adventure and dreaming up all of the awesome and geeky things I could do, so I decided to write a post about my Harry Potter and Wizarding World specific bucket list items. Continue reading

Underrated: Queenie Goldstein

If you have seen the Fantastic Beasts film, you will know who Queenie is. For those that don’t, she is the younger sister Tina, who was one of the more significant characters in the film. Upon my first viewing of Fantastic Beasts, I didn’t give much attention to Queenie. She isn’t the strong, female lead I tend to love. However, given more thought and looking toward The Crimes of Grindelwald, I have decided Queenie deserves more love and appreciation. Continue reading

Board Games for Gryffindors

With the second Fantastic Beasts film coming out this weekend, I wanted to do some wizarding world themed posts. And I had one house left in this series, the brave and courageous Gryffindors, so here are board games that Gryffindors will love. Continue reading

Board Games for Slytherins

You bet the most cunning house is playing some board games. Slytherin’s were the easiest house to find games for and this list could have gotten so much longer but I restrained myself to these five games.  Continue reading

Board Games for Ravenclaws

They may have Wizard Chess, but witches and wizards can find great entertainment from muggle games as well. So I decided to curate lists of games that witches and wizards of each house would enjoy. And of course, I have to start with my own house, Ravenclaw.  Continue reading

First Look: Hogwarts Mystery

Finally! I’ve been waiting for the first game to come from Portkey Games to finally release and here it is: Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. After playing the first few chapters, I wanted to give my initial thoughts on this highly anticipated mobile game. Continue reading

Favorite Moments From The Sorcerer’s Stone

I recently finished listening to the Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone audiobook and of course loved every nostalgic minute of it. Since it has been a very long time since I first read the books, going back was a whole new experience. And I wanted to share some of my favorite moments from going through this story a second time. Continue reading

Favorite Fictional Siblings

Yesterday was my brother’s birthday, so I wanted to do a post to celebrate our siblinghood since he is my one and only brother. So why not celebrate some great siblings throughout fandoms. This list was curated with his help, so double the sibling power, and one big nostalgia trip. Continue reading

The Hogwarts Tag

I have been spending quite a lot of time on Pottermore, mostly for blog posts and school work (I am designing a Fantastic Beasts website!). And after doing the Another Harry Potter Tag, I thought about making a tag that asks all sorts of questions about what we would do if we were Hogwarts students. So here we go! Continue reading

Favorite Fan-Made Harry Potter Content

There has been some great Harry Potter fan work made from so many different people around the world. From fan films to comics to even a musical, there is so much to fill your Potter-y needs. And there are some few that I love and want to share. Continue reading

Underrated: Fantastic Beasts

I really enjoy the magical creatures of the Harry Potter world. It is one of the lesser loved areas, but since the Fantastic Beasts films have come out more love is given to these creatures. And while the world has come to love the Niffler, there are so many more beasts and creatures that could use some love.  Continue reading

Fantastic Beasts Mobile Game Review

While we all excitedly wait for all of the new games to come from Portkey Games to transport us into the wizarding world, I came across this little gem in Google Play. This is a game from Warner Bros. itself, so it has all of our favorite music, creatures, and details from the series. But how is it as a game overall? Continue reading

Voldemort: Origins of the Heir Review

This is a spoiler-free review

Excitement in the Wizarding World fandom has been caused by the release of a fan film called Voldemort: Origins of the Heir. The unofficial film is available to watch for free, so I decided to take an hour and watch this re-telling of the history of Voldemort.  Continue reading

Wizarding World Crate Unboxing and Review

After seeing some unboxings of the first Wizarding World Crate, I decided to check it out and get the March box, which is Hogwarts House Pride. I’m a Ravenclaw, so my stuff is Ravenclaw products, but all of the house items are the same, just house specific. Let’s say “Alohomora!” and open this box. Continue reading

Funko Wishlist: Wizarding World Edition

So I have fallen into the pit that is Funko Pops, even more than I was before. I now have a list on Amazon called Funkos! that is just a list of what I want. And a lot of those are from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. Easily 75% are Harry and his friends, but this list is the top Pops I want. Continue reading

Ilvermorny Sorting Guide

Just this week, Pottermore released a sorting quiz for the American wizarding school, Ilvermorny. And, of course, the sea of people that is the Potter fandom went to the site to be sorted, as did I. But, after being sorted, my biggest question was “What does this mean?” And now this is your guide to understanding your new house.

Misconceptions of Hufflepuffs

Hufflepuffs, I think, are the least discussed house in the Harry Potter universe. The majority of people only know that they exist, that Cedric Digory hailed from there, and probably respond the same way as AVPM Dumbledore did shown above. But what to we assume of them that may not be so? Continue reading

Underrated: Hagrid

Underrated is a new series I am starting where I talk about my favorite, most underrated characters from different fandoms, stories, shows, and more. I want to highlight how important and special these characters really are. And probably the most underrated character of all is the one and only Rubeus Hagrid.

My Fantastic Beasts Wishlist

Official looks into the upcoming Potter World prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them have been released, and while we’ve seen the actors, we have yet to see any beasts. With that being said, here is my wishlist for what beasts I want them to include in the film.

My Top 5 Scenes from Harry Potter Books That Should Be In The Movies

This is certainly not a new topic at all, heck even Buzzfeed has done it. But as an avid Harry Potter fan, we spend much of our time discussing what could have or should have been with the movies. Now, while some stuff can slide, other stuff seemed crazy to cut from the final films. So here are my top 5 scenes from the books that should have been in the movies. Spoilers ahead.
