BTS is the largest music group in the world at the moment, and are essentially an ambassador to K-Pop. If you have fallen in love with the Bangtan Boys, here are some more groups you should check out.
The Boyz
The Boyz debuted in 2017 and their first full album came out this year. This eleven member group has a variety of musical styles featured in their discography, much like BTS.
TREASURE
Treasure debuted just this year in January. This twelve member group comes from the same company as Blackpink and even though they only have a few songs currently, they have all been very enjoyable.
Stray Kids
Stray Kids, an eight member group from JYP, is one of my absolute favorite groups. If you enjoy BTS tracks like Not Today, Dope, and Mic Drop, you will find plenty of songs to enjoy by Stray Kids. Also fun fact, one of the members of Stray Kids (Lee Know) was a backup dancer for BTS.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER
Tomorrow X Together, or TXT for short, is the brother group of BTS at Big Hit. This five member group debuted in 2019 and has a very bright synergy to them and their music.
ATEEZ
Debuted in 2018, Ateez is an eight member group with high energy and hard hitting tracks. If you enjoy BTS’ Idol, there are quite a few Ateez tracks you’ll enjoy.
GreatGuys
I recently found GreatGuys and they are so underrated. They debuted in 2017 with nine members. Be On You is the song that got me into them and they have a variety of concepts like BTS has done.
Seven O’Clock
Another super underrated group is Seven O’Clock. They are a seven-member group that debuted in 2017. Their songs remind me of Save Me by BTS, as a comparison.
What boy groups do you enjoy in K-Pop? Share them in the comments.
I already knew most of these groups but I never heard of GreatGuys or Seven O’Clock. I will definitely look them up! I love discovering new groups! ♥
