Sorcerer’s Arena: Epic Alliances has a couple of expansions out now that further supplement the game, and I wanted to talk about them and whether they are worth getting.
A copy of this game was provided for the purposes of this review.

To give a brief explainer on the base game, your goal is to garner victory points by defeating your enemy. You play as a squad of well-known Disney characters who have unique powers and skills that you will implement on their turn to try and outwit your fellow sorcerer and defeat the other team.
These expansions add new characters to choose from, also expanding the powers and skills available. There are currently two expansions available: Turning the Tides and Thrills & Chills. The former comes with Stitch, Moana, and Davy Jones while the latter brings Mother Gothel, Jack Skellington, and the Horned King. Along with those characters are new sets of cards and powers to hopefully get you closer to victory.

These expansions do add a nice variety to the game as well as increase replayability. You can mix and match more, creating new squads to work with. And doing so means you can play Sorcerer’s Arena more often with different strategies. And it is likely that more expansions will be coming with more of our favorite characters added. So keep an eye out since your favorite characters from Disney and Pixar could be added soon.

What character would you want to play as? I’m personally rooting for Mulan to become playable.
