Sometimes you want to work on your blog but you can’t afford to work on big tasks, whether emotionally, mentally, or time. So here are some small tasks you can do that will help your blog in the long run.
Go through your drafts
If you’re like me, you have quite a few drafts hanging out for your blog that haven’t been revisited in a while. Now is the time to do that, even if it is just a quick skim through the titles to see what ideas you have. It is a good way to kickstart some brainstorming and you may pull a post from there to publish.
Update some old posts
It is good to revisit some old posts you have already published and do some quick updates if needed. If you see an older post getting more views recently, it is a quick task to check that post out and update information if needed.
Brainstorm
Brainstorming is a fairly small task that definitely has a big impact. It generates post ideas and that makes your content. So if you’re struggling with doing bigger tasks, do some brainstorming to have a big impact.
Make a to-do list of the bigger tasks
If you can’t handle or take on bigger tasks right now, keep track of what they are when you do want to do them. I will forget things if I don’t make a to-do list, so when I can’t handle a lot for whatever reason, I like to make to-do lists.

This is genius! I’m so worried about trying to do “big things” that I get overwhelmed. I like how these are manageable things.
