With 2017 coming to an end, I wanted to look back on my blog for the past year and see what has changed, or maybe what hasn’t.
Two Years of A Geek Girl’s Guide
I started my little geeky corner of the internet on July 31, 2015. It’s now been over 2 years! And I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
A Lot of Board Games
My wallet doesn’t think this is a good thing, but my collection of games has grown quite a bit this year. So much so that I haven’t even been able to play them all, let alone review them. 2018 should fix that though.
Started Backing on Kickstarter
I entered the dangerous territory of Kickstarter this year, backing a few projects within in board games and video games. I also started to share different projects in my Kickstart Your Week series, which I hope to bring back next year.
Geek Blogs Unite was Founded
Not gonna lie, I thought Geek Blogs Unite started earlier than 2017. But it’s pretty cool that the group has grown as much as it has in less than a year. If you’re a geeky blogger, definitely join us!
And this is the last post of 2017! I can’t wait to bring the updated A Geek Girl’s Guide to you on January 1st, 2018!
How was your 2017? Let me know with a comment.
January was my practice month for 2018 hoping rest of year goes better
Looks like you had a good year! 2017 was a lot of fun but also a little tiring. lol Hope your 2018 is awesome!
I’m a bit disappointed in myself regarding 2017, but hopefully 2018 is better!
