Last but not least for my MBTI video game series are the diplomats. INFJ, INFP, ENFJ, and ENFP are in this one!
Make sure you check out my introduction post for this series for more information! Also, this post contains affiliate links so I will make a small commission if you buy any of these games through the links.
Diplomats are Intuitive (N) and Feeling (F) personality types and are known for their empathy, diplomatic skills, and passionate idealism.
Advocate – INFJ
Advocates have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers. These individuals are capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact.
Simulation/ Tycoon games are great for Advocates because they can take their dreams and make them into reality, albeit virtually. They can dream up whatever they please and make actual steps to doing so within the safety of a video game.
Examples: Planet Zoo, Cities: Skylines, Stardew Valley
Mediator – INFP
Their altruism and vivid imagination allow Mediators to overcome many challenging obstacles, more often than not brightening the lives of those around them. Mediators’ creativity is invaluable in many areas.
City builder/Management games are great for mediators because they ultimately want to solve problems. In many management games, the situations are also combined with difficulties and needing to make the world better for those you lead. The goal of improving a situation makes an ideal game for Mediators.
Examples: Frostpunk, Dead in Bermuda, Oxygen Not Included
Protagonist – ENFJ
Protagonists are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. Forming around two percent of the population, they are oftentimes our politicians, our coaches and our teachers, reaching out and inspiring others to achieve and to do good in the world. With a natural confidence that begets influence, Protagonists take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community.
Action-adventure games take the leadership side of ENFJs and embrace it fully. While it is a broad genre, it gives the Protagonists many options to work with others or go on a quest.
Examples: The Elder Scrolls Online, Assassins Creed series, Tomb Raider reboot
Campaigner – ENFP
The Campaigner personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. They are charming, independent, energetic and compassionate.
Multiplayer games, especially local, are perfect for campaigners because of their love of having social and emotional connections with others. Being able to play with others is ultimately what makes them happy.
Examples: Move or Die, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Speedrunners
Are you one of these types? Did your description fit? Let me know with a comment!

As an INFJ who loved zoo tycoon and thrillville, I agree.
