I have seen a few different movie tags lately and found some that focused on choosing films to fit prompts. I decided to adapt this in my own way so here is the 30 movies tag!

The last movie you watched
If I remember correctly, it is The Half of It. I rarely watch movies honestly so it will be months and months between me watching a movie.
The last movie you saw in theaters
Knives Out, which was great. It was definitely one I did not regret going to theaters to see.

A movie you saw in theaters multiple times
The only one I can remember is Tangled, which I saw twice.
Your favorite fantasy movie
Harry Potter series, with The Prisoner of Azkaban being my most favorite.

Your favorite action/adventure movie
I’m going with V for Vendetta here, even though it could probably fit in other genres as well. It is a dystopian political action film so I’m going with that action piece.
Your favorite sci-fi movie
Your favorite horror/suspense movie
I am not one to watch either of these basically ever. So I can’t say I have a favorite.

Your favorite drama movie
The Shawshank Redemption is definitely a top favorite of mine.
Your favorite comedy movie
Absolutely Clue. The funniest movie ever in my opinion and I love it.

Your favorite animated movie
Mulan is easily my favorite animated movie.
Your favorite documentary
Miss Representation is a documentary I have seen a few times and it is quite interesting. It is all about the representation of women in media and it’s effects on society.

Your favorite foreign movie
Lola Rennt (aka Run Lola Run) is the only foreign film I have seen, that I can recall. It is a German film that I’ve seen a couple of times.
A movie that makes you happy

A movie that makes you sad
I can’t think of a movie that has consistently made me sad. But there has been a solid handful of movies that have made me cry, and cry hard. One is Les Miserable, where I started bawling during Do You Hear The People Sing. My brother and now joke about it because all I could keep saying was “I was not emotionally prepared for that movie”.
A movie that you practically know the whole script of
Definitely Clue. I quote this movie a lot and it is full of excellent lines.

Your favorite movie from your childhood
The Thief and the Cobbler was a big favorite from my childhood. And I still find it amusing and entertaining.
Your favorite book adaptation
I have a whole post about this topic!

The best movie you saw during last year
Within the last year of writing this, it is Knives Out. It is a great movie!
A movie that disappointed you the most
I have seen some bad movies, like the live action Avatar: The Last Airbender. But one that disappointed me was actually the fourth Harry Potter film. The pacing was really fast and weird and I think they could have done a better job with it.
A movie with your favorite actor
I don’t really have a favorite actor. Closest I can think of is Eddie Redmayne. Fantastic Beasts is the movie I’ll go with since I have yet to see some of his others.
A movie with your favorite actress
Like with actor, I don’t necessarily have a favorite actress. But I do enjoy the work Jennifer Lawrence has done so I’m picking The Hunger Game for this one.

A movie by your favorite director
My favorite director is Baz Luhrmann and my favorite movie of his is The Great Gatsby.
The most overrated movie
The longer it has been out there and the older I get, the more I think Mean Girls is overrated.
The most underrated movie
I don’t want to keep picking Clue, but it really is super underrated. Which is why it is a cult classic honestly.

A movie that is a guilty pleasure
The Devil Wears Prada is the closest I can think of to a guilty pleasure. The genre of romantic comedies as a whole is a guilty pleasure of mine.
A favorite classic movie
The Breakfast Club is what comes to mind, and I think it is pretty classic and iconic.
A favorite remake
I am going with Chicago, even though the original film was not a musical and the remake was. But the remake is awesome and an Oscar win so hard to argue against it. Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby is also high on this list.

Movie with the best cinematography
Baz Luhrmann films have the most gorgeous cinematography which is one reason I love his work. So I am going with Moulin Rouge for this.
Movie with the best soundtrack
Even though I was disappointed by the movie, I do think that Goblet of Fire has a great soundtrack.

Movie with the best cast
Clue has 100% the best cast. They have the perfect chemistry and if you replaced any of them it would just not be as good.
