You may also be thinking “Why should I read these? Why should I listen to you?” Well, let me tell you!
When it comes to specifically being a blogger, I’ve been writing since 2014 and on A Geek Girl’s Guide since 2015. So over the last five years, I’ve been doing this, learning from experience, and now sharing my experience and process. And when it comes to writing in the geeky niche, there is not a lot of guides for being in this space and with us in mind. So I’ve been through a lot of trial and error in this space and want to share what I’ve learned.
Beyond just being a blogger, I also do many of these topics professionally and have the education and certification to be considered an expert. Social media, web design, SEO, advertising, email marketing, and many more topics are all in my toolkit of knowledge I plan to share.
Of course, it’s really up to you if you want to follow along with Guide to Blogging or not. And I hope you do because I am positive that a topic you want to learn more about will be done sooner or later.
“Okay, but when are posts going to be posted? And how does this affect your other posts?”
Excellent question my dear reader! First, Guide to Blogging posts are set to be posted publicly on Wednesdays. If you are a patron on my Patreon, you get early access to these posts. And this doesn’t affect my regularly scheduled geeky content. Guide to Blogging has its own separate home on here outside of my normal feed of posts, so each has its own spotlight.
Now that you’ve gotten through this introduction, you can now read the first three posts of the series! They are about getting started with your blog, choosing a theme, and brainstorming tips.

I have a Patreon and if you become a patron on my blog squad tier you will get access to my Guide to Blogging posts the day before they are publicly available!
