With Thanksgiving approaching and a time to be with family, I thought “what better way to spend time with family than with board games?” So this list is curated based on games to be enjoyed by many people, even the non-gamers, as well as ease of setting up and play.
Ticket to Ride
One of my recent favorite games, Ticket to Ride is great to bring to the table and play with the non-gamers of your family. It’s easy to learn and play and is generally not stressful.
Sushi Go is another easy to learn game, with the added bonus of super easy setup. Also the added bonus of easy to carry, you can take it to even the farthest away family gatherings without much hassle.
Another microgame, Love Letter is easy to play with many people as well as with few. And you can continuously play for as long as you like, as it is a shorter game to play it won’t take up the entire evening unless you want it to.
I know, you’re thinking “After all these games, why is Uno on this list?!” Well, it’s because it’s so well-known you probably won’t have to explain it, it’s another faster to play game, and you could play it for as long or as short as you want. This is one of the games that my family plays a lot because of how easy it is to just start playing.
