Fictional Places I’d Spend the Holidays

Pretty sure every geek has though during the holidays “I wish I could spend Christmas at [Insert Fictional Location].” So I thought about it myself and compiled this list of the places I would love to spend the holidays.

If Hogwarts is not on your list, then what are you doing?! It’s definitely a white Christmas, the castle is magically festive, and the feast is outstanding. You also have the whole school to yourself, as many of your classmates went home for the holidays, so you can explore to your heart’s content. And of course, Dumbledore leading the Christmas carols.

The iconic Whoville is most well-known for its love of the holidays. Have a Fizz Pheasant for dinner, parties every day, and constantly speaking in rhyme. Who wouldn’t have a good time in Whoville, besides the Grinch?

Have a hot butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks, a snowball fight at the Shrieking Shack, and do some holiday shopping, Hogsmeade would be a bustling center of holiday cheer.

The Land of Sweets

I grew up dancing for almost 14 years, so The Nutcracker is an essential part of the holiday season. And the Land of Sweets is my favorite part of the show, so I would always want to be in that part of the show.

The Burrow

The Weasley’s are so warm and loving, especially Molly. So I imagine their holidays are very quaint and loving. A Weasley Christmas is the best Christmas, as long as Arthur is not attacked by a snake again.
