I have had a lot of Disney Parks on my mind, mainly cause I am planning a trip to go to Disneyland in September and (hopefully) a trip to Walt Disney World in May 2019. Since the west coast trip is sooner, I wanted to draft up a bucket list of things I want to do on this upcoming trip.
Try the Grey Stuff and Dole Whip
I got ridiculously excited when I found out you can try The Grey Stuff at Disneyland! Who has not wanted to try it after seeing Beauty and the Beast? This is my top food-related to-do at Disneyland, followed by trying Dole Whip, which I have never had either.
UPDATE (2/8/19): The Grey Stuff was delicious! Still have not had Dole Whip though.
Make Custom Ears to Wear
This was a last minute thought I had because I was thinking about buying custom ears through Etsy. But there is a particular fabric I have seen and want to use in something, and ears would be perfect for this. So I’m going to try to make my own custom ears for my trip.
Pixar Pier
Pixar Pier is the latest updates happening in California Adventure, and I am very excited about having that part of the park transformed into a celebration of Pixar films. I can’t wait to ride the Incredicoaster and the other new ride they are adding.
UPDATE (2/8/19): We got to go to the new pier on my trip in September 2018. While it is not fully finished, the Pixar update is great. You can read more about my thoughts on that trip’s recap post.

DisneyBound
I wanted to try a DisneyBound this trip as a new thing to do since I usually just wear a Disney themed shirt. I haven’t decided what character I would try to do yet since I want to pull from my own closet and not have to buy anything new. So we will see what happens.
Ride Peter Pan’s Flight
So even though I have been to Disneyland quite a few times, I have never ridden Peter Pan’s Flight. Mostly because it has a very long line most of the time compared to other Fantasyland attractions is why I haven’t gotten on it before.
UPDATE (2/8/19): I got to ride it after a 40+ minute wait. It’s alright and I can say I have ridden it. And I don’t think I need to ride it again.
Pin Collecting
I mentioned in my geeky facts about me post about how I collected pins as a kid. I’d like to pick that up again so I am going to start fresh this trip. Now I don’t want to do pin trading, just collecting. Pin trading is not where my job lies with the pins. I like to pick a couple of pins of my favorite characters or rides or the design I like and keep them, not purchase in bulk to trade. Nothing against pin trading, it’s a great activity to do, just not what I want to do.
UPDATE (2/8/19): I’ve got my little collection now. You can see the pins I got in my recap post from my September trip.
This list is very much targeted at my specific trip, as it is not my first trip to the Disneyland Resort. But what would you put on your Disneyland Bucket List? Let me know with a comment below.
We are trying to Disney bound for our next trip! It takes a lot of planning out. We just posted about a big Disney haul we made for our trip to Disneyland Paris!
It’s been ages since I’ve been on Peter Pan’s Flight! It’s a lot of fun. And oh my gosh, Dole Whip is incredible! I can’t wait to hear what you think about it!
Ahhhhh dole whip is amazing!!! You’re going to love it!!! You can get it at the tiki room area not too far from the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland! Over on WDW you can get it in different areas!!! I hope you get to try it!!
I’d love to go on the snow while ride, I’ve been to Disneyland twice but never got to go on it!
