30 Day Geek Out Challenge: Day 29

You know how many cartoon characters always wear the same outfit episode after episode? Well, today I am that cartoon character and I am describing my outfit for today’s 30 Day Geek Out Challenge question.

Just as a reminder, the 30 Day Geek Out Challenge is all about what makes you geeky, from fandoms to hobbies, favorite characters and more. I’m going to do this challenge along with my regular schedule of posts, so there will be tons of content from me this month! Thanks to Megan at A Geeky Gal for creating this!

Today’s question is: You’re an anime/cartoon character now! What outfit are you always wearing?

I basically have two modes when it comes to clothing: complete schlump or nicely presentable. So of the two, I’ll go with the nicely presentable option.

Nicely presentable Michelle consists of 4 key pieces. The first is simply a solid colored tank top. Type of tank top and specific color aren’t that important, although I do love darker and jewel tones in general. The second is jeggings. I honestly don’t wear any other kind of pants so it was always going to be jeggings.

The third is a kimono/shawl of some type like I’m wearing in the photos. I stand firm in the belief that adding a kimono/shawl to an outfit makes it 20% more presentable. Plus they add color and fun patterns and such. A cardigan also works when it is colder weather.

And last is boots because boots are my favorite kind of shoe. Booties are my usual go-to, but I also love combat boots and longer riding style boots. So boots of any kind work really.

Make sure you go an check out A Geeky Gal’s post for this question too!

What is the cartoon version of you wearing? Leave a comment telling me!
