I am pretty new to K-pop having just gotten into it at the end of last year. Since then I have slowly been getting more and more into it and thus decided to make a tag for it.
When did you start listening to K-pop?
Fall of 2019, so I am quite the newbie to it all.
How did you get into K-pop?
There were a few influencing factors. I think what really got me into K-pop was dance practice videos on YouTube. They would pop up into my recommendations since I watch dance videos from time to time, so I started watching compilations a various groups’ dances.
What was the first song you listened to?
Make It Right by BTS
What was the first group you listened to?
BTS. It’s very hard to not know who BTS is even if you aren’t into K-pop.
Who is your current favorite boy group?
Again, BTS. They have the most songs and choreography I enjoy and they are quite wholesome.
Who is your current favorite girl group?
BLACKPINK. When I first started listening to K-pop I wasn’t finding any girl groups I enjoyed because they were all a bit too bubbly for me. So when I heard Kill This Love I was immediately drawn to BLACKPINK.
Who is your ultimate bias?
For anyone who doesn’t know what an ultimate bias is, it is basically your most favorite idol. So mine is RM from BTS, who is known for being a rapper, the leader, and writing a lot of their lyrics.
What is your favorite choreography?
This is so hard for me as the dancing is one of my favorite parts and they are all so freaking talented. The one that always impresses me the most is IDOL by BTS. It is not easy choreo but they are all so good it looks effortless.
Have you learned any choreography?
The most of a choreography I know is for Kill This Love by BLACKPINK, mainly thanks to Just Dance 2020 honestly.
What is your current favorite song?
I really like ON by BTS lately. Mic Drop also by BTS is one I always enjoy when it comes on too. I have been listening to a ton of BTS so I have too many favorites and thus a whole playlist just for them.
What group is the newest to you?
EVERGLOW is the newest group to me and I found them thanks to Tik Tok dancer videos.
What was the last song you listened to?
Not Today by BTS. I fell down a rabbit hole of BTS dance videos and music videos.
