I was wandering the internet, as one does, and I came across this old tag on Drizzle & Hurricane Books’ blog. Since I am a NetGalley reader, I figured I’d give it a go!

AUTO-APPROVED: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they’re about?
I’m way too picky so I don’t think there is any author where I would read the book regardless of what it is about. Only one I can think of that can maybe slide past this is Rupi Kaur and her poetry collections.
REQUEST: What makes you want to request a book that you see on NetGalley?
I specifically only look at YA, comics and graphic novels. Book covers do really get my attention, but the synopsis is what gets me to actually request it. However if I recognize the author, I’m more inclined to request prior to synopsis reading.
FEEDBACK RATIO: Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?
I have not reviewed every book I’ve gotten from NetGalley. And there are quite a few that I reviewed on NetGalley but not on the blog. For the latter case, it is usually because I don’t really have enough to say about the book to warrant a whole post. If I don’t review it at all, it’s most likely due to the fact I didn’t have enough time to actually read it. I do strive to review every book I get approved for, but life happens.

BADGES: If you could create your own badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?
Sidebar before answering, I forgot NetGalley badges were a thing so I had a peak at what I had over there and found out a couple of my reviews were chosen to be featured on the book page.
Anyway back to the question, the most fitting badge I can think of and I know people would agree fits for my blog it would be for consistency in posting. I’ve gotten even more consistent lately with more content.
WISH FOR IT: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?
This is going to be super nerd of me but I am dying to read HYYH: The Notes 2, which is the second book in the Bangtan Universe. You bet I pre-ordered it the second I saw that I could and it doesn’t come out till October so it’s a long wait.
2020 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE: What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’ve never received an ARC, what’s the last book you reviewed?
As of writing this post, it was Fangs by Sarah Anderson. It has a review here on the blog too!
