Field Trip: PAX Unplugged
Now that it has been a full week since PAX Unplugged started so now is a good time to recap the event, right? Underrated: Fantastic Beasts
I really enjoy the magical creatures of the Harry Potter world. It is one of the lesser loved areas, but since the Fantastic Beasts films have come out more love is given to these creatures. And while the world has come to love the Niffler, there are so many more beasts and creatures that could use some love. Continue reading

In a long line of ever-changing Defense Against the Dark Arts professors, Lupin stands to be the best, despite his condition. His presence is so significant and powerful, but often not recognized or acknowledged anymore. Continue reading
Underrated: Nani
In my recent Underrate post about Merida, someone commented about how Lilo and Stitch is really the first Disney film about familial love, and dear commenter is totally right. So I thought about not Lilo, but Nani, her older sister, and how she is an underrated lady herself. Continue reading

Let’s talk about Merida, the true first familial love story by Disney

YouTube Red Originals Review
I watch YouTube and Twitch more than anything else, and the new YouTube Red Originals have caught my eye a few times. When I finally decided to purchase a subscription, I knew I was going to have to review some of the shows.
Underrated: Symmetra
With the release of Overwatch and it’s variety of heroes, many have received quite a bit of hype, while others slipped through the cracks. From what I have seen, both story and game play wise, Symmetra is one of the more underrated heroes.
Ingress vs. Pokemon Go
Pokemon Go has taken over the world, gotten everyone out of their houses and hunting monsters, and become a cultural phenomenon. Ingress, the first mobile game created by Niantic, definitely didn’t have the same effect, but has a loyal following around the globe. When put toe-to-toe, which one wins?
What to Watch: Twitch pt. 2
I wrote a post awhile back about watching Twitch and using it as a way to be a game viewer. Now it has become one of my main forms of entertainment, especially for gaming content. But, when you are new-ish to Twitch, it’s kind of hard to find streamers to watch. I have the answers to that.
What To Watch: Quidditch
Did you know that you can watch quidditch in real life, with a World Cup and everything?Sure, flying might not be directly involved, but quidditch is alive and well all around the world.
Underrated: Kiki
When Studio Ghibli is mentioned, we usually always go to My Neighbor Totoro or Spirited Away as our first mental pictures. But what about Kiki’s Delivery Service?

Villains need love too, right? And Yzma is probably the most underrated Disney villain, even though she is hilarious and so evil.

Underrated: Joel
Warning: Spoilers!!!
As I’ve mentioned in the past, I am a video game watcher. One game I really enjoyed watching was The Last of Us, which is set during a zombie apocalypse and follows Ellie, a young girl with a life-changing gift, and Joel, Ellie’s complicated, closed off escort. Although Ellie is amazing and has an interesting backstory, I think Joel is much more underrated.

Misconceptions of Slytherins
So, I’ve covered Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, so it’s only fair to go on to Slytherin now.
Underrated: Helga Pataki
Ah, Helga. The bully/ unrequited lover in Hey Arnold. Re-watching the show, she is the best character and her episodes are the best of them all. And even though she is a very well-known character from the show, I think she is underrated because of her deep character development.
What to Watch: Twitch
I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts that I don’t play video games, but I avidly watch other people play games. My focus is on the story of the game or the artwork of the game, and how the gamer plays the game. So, I would watch on YouTube primarily, and then that connected me to Twitch.
Underrated: Megara
I saw another site do a post about how Megara (or Meg) is the most underrated Disney lady. Of course, it caught my interest so I went to it and it was, well, not what I wanted. All of the reasons were her “realistic hair” and such, and I just went “Really?” So here is what I think makes Meg underrated and awesome.
Misconceptions of Hufflepuffs
Hufflepuffs, I think, are the least discussed house in the Harry Potter universe. The majority of people only know that they exist, that Cedric Digory hailed from there, and probably respond the same way as AVPM Dumbledore did shown above. But what to we assume of them that may not be so? Continue reading
